Sang Kim is the Vice President of Risk for Consumer Portfolio Services, Inc. (CPS) since August 2017. In her role, Sang is responsible for identifying key and emerging risks that are most important for CPS and plays an integral part in the company’s strategic direction and future growth. Using her 20 years of professional experience including 17 years in the auto finance industry from the US to abroad and Prime to Deep Subprime, she has a proven track record of successfully improving business processes and transforming culture in order to advance and move an enterprise to the next level. Scott joined Windermere Insurance Group in 2014 and currently serves as a Commercial Insurance Advisor specializing in the placement and service of management risk and professional liability insurance, with a specific emphasis on the financial services industry. Prior to joining Windermere, Scott was a cofounder and managing partner of an asset management firm which invested in residential mortgage-backed securities. He spent the previous 18 years at First Union/Wachovia Securities, with various business development and management responsibilities in structured and corporate finance. Denis Brosnan was named president and chief executive officer of DIMONT in July 2015. He brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience in technology and technology-enabled services firms for the financial services industry. Prior to joining DIMONT, Brosnan served as the chief executive officer of Prommis Solutions, one of the largest national providers of technology-enabled default-related processing services to the mortgage industry.Brosnan began his professional career as a practicing attorney representing mortgage servicers. He was also a Captain in the JAG Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve for eight years, serving both stateside and overseas.Brosnan holds a B.S. degree in Management from Clemson University and a J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina.
Patrick Manzi is NADA’s Senior Economist. In this role, Patrick works with both NADA as well the American Truck Dealers (ATD), a division of NADA. Patrick is responsible for many of the association’s monthly and annual reports including NADA Data and ATD Data.
Prior to joining NADA Patrick was a graduate research assistant at the West Virginia University Bureau of Business and Economic Research where he co-authored several economic impact reports for public and private clients in West Virginia and the surrounding regions.
A native West Virginian, Patrick received both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees in Economics from West Virginia University. Patrick currently resides in Arlington, VA.
Sean Cassidy is co-founder and chief technology officer of DefenseStorm, a cybersecurity management platform that fuses together technology and people to provide co-managed cybersecurity operations for financial institutions. As CTO of DefenseStorm, Cassidy oversees the company’s engineering and software development teams to deliver network monitoring designed to meet the needs of community banks and credit unions. Wes Lutz is president of Extreme Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, RAM Inc. in Jackson, Mich. He has been a Chrysler dealer since 1976. Lutz is 2017 vice chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association and represents Michigan's franchised new-car dealers on its board of directors. He previously served on the NADA board from 2001 to 2004.
Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer (COO) joined HCA in 2017. Prior to joining HCA, Vince worked at Bank of the West (BNP Paribas), where he was Executive Vice President and Head of the National Consumer Finance division. He began his 29-year career in automotive finance with DaimlerChrysler Financial, growing into a leadership role as Head of U.S. Business after the acquisition by TD Auto Finance. Vince received his Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Central Missouri.
Dr. Sven A. Beiker is the Founder and Managing Director of Silicon Valley Mobility, a consulting and advisory firm serving startups, investors, and corporations to understand trends in mobility. The firm specializes in market sizing, implementation roadmaps, and business models. Dr. Beiker brings to bear his well over 20 years of experience gained during his tenure at the BMW Group, Stanford University, and McKinsey & Company. Frank John Maione was born in Englewood, NJ. Shortly after his family moved to Staten Island NY where he grew up until moving to Florida in 1973. It was abundantly clear that Frank’s passion for the car business would propel him into becoming an extremely successful dealer. After his first job in an auto parts store in Hollywood, Florida Frank transitioned to working in dealerships where he has held every position in a franchise car dealership including; Parts and Service Manager, Sales, Finance Manager, General Sales Manager and General Manager. Frank’s desire to learn every aspect of dealership operations as well as his countless accomplishments clearly became his competitive advantage as he continued to grow his career. Moving to Las Vegas in May 2001 for the Staluppi megadealer group as Chief Operating Officer, Frank led the dealership to become the #1 Hyundai Dealer in the World seven years in a row. In 2007 Frank acquired Henderson Hyundai from the Staluppi group. Interjecting his experience, knowledge and leadership style, Frank grew the dealership to the 15th largest Hyundai store in the United States and it is still growing today. In 2014 Frank agreed to offer Hyundai Protection Plan products exclusively to Henderson Hyundai’s customers and within months became the highest product penetration dealer in the nation. Frank has always had a keen interest in giving back to the community. In late 2017, He donated more than one thousand vehicle parts, valued at over $72,000 to the automotive program at Basic Academy of International Studies in Henderson. The donation, which is the largest in the school’s automotive program’s history, will help students gain valuable knowledge of current automotive maintenance processes.
Melinda Zabritski is Senior Director for Experian Automotive, responsible for Experian’s products and services specific to the automotive credit and lending industry, as well as the business unit’s thought leadership efforts. Throughout her career with Experian, Zabritski has overseen the marketing strategy for the development of Experian’s automotive credit vertical sales channel; she also has launched and managed numerous credit products geared toward automotive lenders and dealers. Additionally, she serves as Experian’s primary analyst and spokesperson regarding key automotive finance trends.
Tom Kontos is Chief Economist for KAR Auction Services Inc. He makes frequent presentations to clients and at automotive industry conferences, and is often quoted in the trade and national press. Tom is author of Pulse, a report on economic conditions and the new and used vehicle markets in the US and Canada, and the Kontos Kommentary, a monthly e-mail report and video on wholesale used vehicle price trends. He oversees an analytical services team in the US and Canada, who produce numerous value-added studies for clients and dealers of the KAR family of companies. In 2016, Tom was awarded the Ed Bobit Icon of the Automotive Industry Award by the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance and the National Auto Auction Association. Tom has more than 25 years of experience in market research, financial analysis and strategic planning; and holds bachelors and masters degrees in mineral resource economics from Pennsylvania State University.
Don Gottwald is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of KAR Auction Services, Inc. As chief operating officer and chief strategy officer, Gottwald is responsible for enterprise strategy, especially focusing on the future of mobility and emerging opportunities. He is also charged with leading the company’s operational effectiveness and building exceptional data analytical capabilities across the organization. He oversees all support functions, such as corporate development, enterprise optimization and client services, and he directs the strategic and operational leadership of these businesses, as well as long-term alignment and enterprise integration. Previously, Gottwald served as chief executive officer of AFC. In this role, Gottwald was responsible for the strategic leadership of the company’s objectives and growth. Richard Hyde is Prestige’s Chief Operating Officer, a capacity in which he oversees the business functions of loan production and portfolio servicing. Mr. Hyde joined Prestige in 2002, prior to which he served as Division Vice President of Collections for a national bank’s mortgage operation. His 25 years of industry experience have been devoted to collections and asset recovery in below-prime consumer credit, including Division Training Manager of a major brand credit card operation, Vice President of Collections at the regional center of an international finance company and Director of Collections for a manufactured housing finance company. Michael Dominguez is Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer for MGM Resorts International. In this role, he provides executive oversight for the global sales strategies of the company’s 42,000 hotel rooms and its three million square feet of meeting space (more meeting space found than in all of New York City). Mr. Dominguez also leads the company’s industry relations and MGM Resorts Event Productions’ efforts.
Prior to joining MGM Resorts in 2012, Mr. Dominguez was Vice President of Global Sales for Loews Hotels & Resorts, where he oversaw sales efforts for 18 luxury hotels in the U.S. and Canada starting in 2008. He began his hospitality career working with Hyatt in 1984.
Mr. Dominguez also actively serves in various leadership roles in the Meetings and Events Industry and currently serves as the Immediate Past Chairman on the International Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International. His most recent appointment is to the Board of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Foundation Board. Among his other achievements, Mr. Dominguez was named one of Meetings Focus’ 2014 Meetings Trendsetters, among the “50 Influentials” in the 2013 HispanicBusiness.com’s annual list, one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in Business in North America by Hispanic Business Magazine, and one of the “25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry” by Successful Meetings Magazine.
Alecia Bridgwater, a consultant in the Internet of Things (IoT) arena, conducts projects in multiple industries focused on marketing customer experiences that simplify the purchase process leveraging data from IoT sources. She is most passionate about helping companies enable technologies and marketing to enhance their brands and products as she has done for Samsung Connected Car, Samsung Pay, T-Mobile online credit approval and activation, Cricket Wireless’ prepaid service and the AT&T 4G LTE network.
Brian Landau leads the auto finance business and oversees the formation and execution of TransUnion’s auto market strategy and development plan. He brings close to 15 years of strategy and planning experience to TransUnion from McKinsey & Company, Booz & Company, Countrywide Financial, and Mars & Co (an offshoot of The Boston Consulting Group). Prior to joining TransUnion, Landau served over 20 leading financial institutions on numerous transformational initiatives related to B2B/B2C pricing, salesforce effectiveness, and lean IT and operations.
Landau holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
Jeff Parent is the President and General Manager of Gulf States Toyota. Jeff joined GST in April of 2010 as the Vice President of Strategy and Planning, and has held increasingly responsible positions in marketing and supply chain.Prior to being named President in February 2017, Jeff was Senior Vice President and Assistant General Manager, where he was responsible for all marketing and supply chain activities.
In 1990, Jeff began his career with Volkswagen of America. He spent 17 years at VW and held executive management positions at both VW Credit and the VW Brand, where he was Director of Sales Operations, and a Regional VP. Charlie Vogelheim has over 30 years of automotive industry experience including roles as VP at J.D. Power and as executive editor at both Kelley Blue Book and Motor Trend Auto Group. He is the principal of Vogelheim Ventures through which he is involved in a variety of initiatives including Motor Trend Audio, TPC Management, DrivingSales, RyanTech and Webcars China. Charlie is an auto enthusiast whose career has been centered on observing and supporting the automotive industry. Whether providing vehicle information and values or helping dealers with digital marketing and technical development, he has consistently represented thought leading solutions to industry challenges. In order to study trends, maintain contact with industry executives, and further product familiarity, he travels extensively, attending most National Motor Shows and Automotive Industry Conferences. Charlie is often a featured speaker at automotive seminars, educational meetings and media interviews. Chris is president and chief executive officer of the American Financial Services Association (AFSA), a national, Washington, D.C.– based trade association for the consumer credit industry, protecting access to credit and consumer choice. Founded in 1916, AFSA has 375 members that include consumer and commercial finance companies and banks involved in auto finance and leasing, mortgage loans, personal loans, payment cards, industrial banks and industry suppliers. Scott Cooke is vice president, Risk, Dealer Credit, and Information Security for Toyota Financial Services (TFS). He also serves as TFS’ Chief Risk Officer, Americas Region, responsible for establishing and implementing risk-based policies and risk-based metrics for Toyota Financial Services Corporation (TFSC) affiliates in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela. Cooke joined TFS in June, 2003, as director of Market Risk, Economic Capital, and International Treasury, responsible for the oversight of interest rate, liquidity, basis, and counterparty credit risk. In 2006, he became head of Strategic Planning and Competitive Intelligence, and was later promoted to corporate manager, Business Intelligence. He subsequently worked for the Office of the Chief Information Officer, and then served as corporate manager, Dealer Credit. Prior to assuming his current role in 2015, Cooke was corporate manager, Product Planning, for North America Products at Toyota Motor Sales. Cooke earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and MBA from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Mr. Timothy L. Stanley joined Heights Finance as President and Chief Executive Officer in April of 2003. Mr. Stanley has been Chief Executive Officer and Director of Pioneer Financial Services, Inc. since October 2014 and December 2013 respectively and serves as its Vice Chairman of the Board. AFSA engages in direct advocacy at the state level, as directed by its membership. Bill and his federal government relations team have enhanced AFSA’s presence in the political debate affecting a number of issues that impact member companies’ ability to offer affordable credit options to American consumers. He has been called on to sit in the hot seat at the witness table in congressional hearings and has served as an industry spokesman on a number of pressing topics. Bill came to AFSA in 2004 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he headed the congressional relations office. Prior to joining HUD, Bill was director of legislative affairs for BGR Holding, LLC, where he worked as a lobbyist for Haley Barbour, who went on to become governor of Mississippi. While on Capitol Hill, he served as tax counsel and legislative director for Rep. Jerry Weller of Illinois, as well as a senior legislative assistant with Rep. Charles Canady from Florida.

Andrew Stuart is the President and CEO and leads all aspects of TD Auto Finance in the U.S. Prior to his current role, Mr. Stuart held the positions of President and Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer at VW Credit, Inc. Mr. Stuart was responsible for Financial Reporting, Information Technology, Service Center Operations, Human Resources, Legal, and Treasury.Over the past 20 years Mr. Stuart has held various positions of increased responsibility in the automotive field. He started his career at Volkswagen Group Canada as a District Manager in the Atlantic Provinces. Since then, he has held various management positions with the Volkswagen Group, in Sales, Marketing, Product Planning and Financial Services. Andrew left the Volkswagen Group for approximately two years from 2007-2008 to become the Chief Operating Officer at Ron Tonkin Dealerships in Portland, OR. Prior to this, Mr. Stuart served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bentley Motors, Inc. where he led the company through a very successful period in the US and Canadian markets. Mr. Stuart serves on the Board of Directors of the American Financial Services Association and Junior Achievement. A native of Nova Scotia, Canada, Mr. Stuart attended Saint Mary’s University where he received a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing. Kathy Ruble is the Executive Director Auto Marketing and Dealer Communications at Ally. In this role she is responsible for all aspects of Automotive marketing and advertising, including dealer CRM, lead management, regional marketing, new business, sponsorships and events. Her team creates and distributes dealer/program communications to 18,000 plus Dealers. Prior to her new role, Kathy was the Executive Director of Communications, Dealership Online Services, and led the U.S. sales team that sold and promoted dealership training, lead management, and Ally SmartAuction, the industry-leading online auction. Kathy has been with GM/GMAC/Ally for 33 years and during her career has amassed a wealth of experience in many facets of the auto business and finance operations. She has held a number of sales and marketing positions in the field across the country as well as roles in commercial lending, OEM operations and alliance support. Ruble holds a bachelor’s degree in communication, arts and sciences from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in administration/marketing from Central Michigan University. She serves on the American Financial Services Association (AFSA) Vehicle Finance Board and Planning Committee. She also sits on the AFSA Women’s Leadership Council, the Board of Directors for the AFSA Education Foundation, and was recently appointed to the Michigan Philharmonic Board of Directors. She is a mentor at Ally and Wayne State University, and is active with the Ally Women’s ERG chairing the business connectivity pillar.
Ericka Kurtz has 15 years of Sales and Marketing experience, beginning in pharma and digital sales then transitioning to advertising for MGM Resorts International’s premier luxury destination, Bellagio Las Vegas. She has spent the last three years in the world where her passions of digital and marketing intersect: Social Media! Ericka has supported the organizational shift to centralize social media efforts for MGM Resorts and help redefine how the hospitality industry of Las Vegas engages the consumer through this powerful channel. Ericka oversees the social media content strategy for the parent brand, MGM Resorts, and enterprise-wide initiatives, including content and community management for multi-million dollar paid media placements around national branding campaigns, venue grand openings, influencer marketing, and more. She has helped instill a video-first content strategy, resulting in a year-over-year increase of outbound video and animation content by over 600% (2015 to 2016). Ericka Kurtz started her academic career in computer science, learning to program and build computers in high school. She learned to type before she could write! But being a bit too extroverted for her tech colleagues, she was introduced to sales and marketing and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science, Business Administration (BSBA), Marketing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
